William Merrill established his gallery in 1985.  Merrill saw a much needed niche for fine contemporary and modern art in Orange County. He combined his love, passion and appreciation of fine art with his determination to create what is today, a successfully growing, internationally recognized gallery.

An avid collector himself, Merrill wanted to offer masterfully executed, contemporary/modern art and sculpture for a sophisticated and discerning art collector.  Our focus is on mid-career/ascending artists, most of whom already have museum acquisitions and are still aggressively pursuing their craft.

We offer a challenging monthly exhibition  program of national and international artists such as Paul Ecke, Dan Corbin, Cybele Rowe, Adrian Lockhart, Allen Cox, Georgi Andonov and Donna McGinnis - all offering a unique and stimulating creative vision.

The William Merrill Gallery has placed works in the finest collections across the nation and overseas. The gallery boasts a client list of distinguished collectors, designers, architects and corporations.
